LadyRackz is a Cape Verdean and Jamaican-American hip-hop and R&B artist, entrepreneur and mother of three, making music out of South Florida. Raised in West Palm Beach, she came up in Providence, Rhode Island. Her music sits at the crossroads of American hip-hop, the wider Cape Verdean and Lusophone diaspora and the Jamaican diaspora, from Florida and New England to Portugal, France, the Netherlands and beyond.
Her lane isn't just "boss-lady rap." It's a boss woman building wealth, raising three children, surviving real life, and creating a legacy without losing her heart — money, motherhood, ambition, relationships, sacrifice and resilience, all in the same verse.
The goal with every record: someone hears it and thinks, she understands what I'm going through — and gets up and works a little harder because of it.
West Palm Beach raised. Providence made. Cape Verdean and Jamaican at heart.
Raised in West Palm Beach, she came up in Providence, home to one of the largest Cape Verdean communities in the country, and today she makes her music out of South Florida. Both sides of her heritage, Cape Verdean and Jamaican, are part of the sound and the story, not a footnote to it.
